About the Role

As an Educational Manager for our Profifamilien® (foster families), you will support these families in their work and provide expert guidance throughout all relevant processes. This role involves fostering trusting communication between children, foster families, biological families, and youth welfare offices.

Responsibilities

• Foster trusting communication between children, Profifamilien®, biological families, and youth welfare offices.
• Select, prepare, and support Profifamilien®, including home visits and educational conferences.
• Conduct preparation courses and personal interviews.
• Support work-life balance with patience and a solution-oriented approach.
• Manage and create care plans, including goal development discussions.

Requirements

• Social pedagogy degree, ideally with additional qualifications (e.g., counseling, supervision, trauma pedagogy).
• Empathetic and confident in handling special life situations and the demands of an Educational Manager.
• Independent, team-oriented, and solution-focused.
• Responsible and dedicated to providing the best possible support to all parties involved.
• Possess a big-picture perspective and willingness to take responsibility.
