About the Role

We are looking for several employees for the maintenance workshops or component refurbishment of the U-Bahn maintenance department. We are seeking individuals for full-time or part-time positions. Classification within the TV-N Berlin collective agreement will be based on professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work on subway vehicles and their components.
• Maintain, repair, and inspect electrical and mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems of subway vehicles.
• Plan and control work processes, and take responsibility for the control and assessment of results and their digital documentation.
• Contribute to the creation of documents and work on the continuous improvement of processes and the quality of repairs.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training (minimum three years) with an electrical engineering focus, e.g., Electronics Technician for Plant Engineering, Mechatronics Technician, or comparable vocational training.
• Proficient German language skills, both spoken and written (C1 level).
• Fitness for duty examination according to BOStrab will be part of the hiring process.
