About the Role

Join the Corporate & Investment Banking Technology team to safeguard the stability, availability, and performance of APAC production services. You will oversee production support for Cash Equities, ensuring resilient application flows and a seamless trader experience across DMA, algorithmic, and high-frequency trading environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day technical and operational support for Front and Middle Office applications.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for critical issues.
  • Own support for end-to-end trade lifecycle applications.
  • Build and maintain partnerships across Production Management, Business, and Technology stakeholders.
  • Partner with Application Development to implement fixes and stability enhancements.
  • Champion SRE and DevOps practices.
  • Define, track, and report capacity, resiliency, and reliability metrics.
  • Strengthen failover and business continuity capabilities and lead DR planning and execution.
  • Enhance observability and monitoring for the Prime trading application suite.
  • Manage production incidents end-to-end, including triage, stakeholder engagement, and vendor coordination.
  • Lead detailed post-mortems and document root causes in ServiceNow.
  • Engage throughout the SDLC to ensure non-functional readiness.
  • Plan, review, and execute application change releases.
  • Uphold firm Risk & Controls standards across incident, change, and problem management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Application Development, Production support, or technology operations within financial services.
  • Strong exposure to Equities Cash, Derivatives, and Prime Trading.
  • Proficiency in Linux/UNIX and strong scripting skills.
  • Hands-on experience with ITRS Geneos and modern observability practices.
  • Understanding of networking, connectivity, and low-latency trading environments.
  • Strong analysis, problem-solving, and investigation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience executing processes aligned to the ITIL framework.
