About the Role
SEEK Pass is a digital passport for managing verified identity and credentials, aiming to integrate across the HR ecosystem. This role leads the Operations function for a SEEK Pass sub-domain, working within a shared leadership model with Engineering and Product to shape strategy, drive delivery, and optimize operations for digital identity and trusted information solutions.
Responsibilities
- Act as part of a cross-functional sub-domain leadership team, shaping ambition, setting direction, and resolving escalations.
- Foster an inclusive culture, coach, and mentor team members for growth and development.
- Develop deep domain knowledge, synthesize insights, and influence prioritization and decision-making.
- Ensure consistency and efficiency in operations, including scoping, testing, launching, and scaling new features.
- Embody the SEEK Pass purpose, principles, and behaviors.
- Lead hiring and onboarding of new operations team members and capacity planning.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, obligations, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Experience leading a team with proven ability to coach, train, and manage people.
- Experience operationalizing processes and scaling operations within a start-up environment.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to solve complex problems logically and data-driven.
- Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills, managing multiple priorities and trade-offs.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, build rapport, and influence senior stakeholders.
- Positive, resilient attitude with initiative and ownership of outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail for high-quality product delivery.
- Good high-level understanding of key technology concepts.
- Experience as a senior leader or operations manager in a start-up environment, working with agile software development teams.
- Experience defining operational or product requirements, tracking performance, and diagnosing issues.
- Experience with police checks, identity documents, and verification.
