About the Role
As Head of Reservations at June Six Berlin City West, you will play a key role in the economic success of our hotel. You will be responsible for the operational management of the reservations department and will actively shape occupancy, revenue, and guest experience in collaboration with Revenue Management and operational teams. We are looking for leaders who combine analytical thinking with a drive to develop processes rather than just manage them.
Responsibilities
- Manage our reservations department both technically and operationally, ensuring smooth reservation processes.
- Coordinate daily operations, set priorities, and ensure efficient handling of all inquiries with a focus on service.
- Provide competent advice to guests and business partners, finding solutions for complex requests.
- Manage group inquiries from offer creation and price negotiations to successful implementation in close coordination with operational teams.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management and Front Office to optimize occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction.
- Analyze booking figures, market trends, and reports to derive actionable recommendations.
- Manage room quotas, support forecasts, and contribute expertise in revenue meetings.
- Actively develop processes, help shape standards, and influence the future of our reservation organization.
- Identify optimization potential and actively shape processes to continuously improve efficiency and service quality.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or a degree in hotel management, tourism, or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience in reservations, ideally with initial leadership responsibility.
- Understanding of the interplay between occupancy, pricing strategy, and revenue development, with proficiency in key figures.
- Analytical thinking, affinity for numbers, and a strong grasp of economic contexts.
- Clear, confident, and assertive communication skills with guests and internal stakeholders.
- Structured, independent work style with the ability to maintain an overview in dynamic situations.
- Willingness to take initiative and responsibility.
- Team spirit, sense of responsibility, and a appreciative leadership style.
- Proficiency in MS Office and common hotel and reservation systems.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
