Responsibilities
- Support sales teams and Senior SEs in presentations, demos, and technical explanations to prospective and existing customers.
- Understand customer business challenges and technical requirements to propose solutions leveraging Snowflake's value.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and technical validations to support customer decision-making throughout the sales cycle.
- Continuously learn about advancements in data, cloud, and AI, deepening understanding of competitive and related vendor technologies.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Product, Engineering, and Marketing to share field learnings and customer feedback.
- Incrementally enhance technical, presentation, and customer proposal skills in line with standard selection and development expectations for the SE organization in Japan.
Requirements
- Strong interest and continuous learning ability in SaaS, cloud, data platforms, analytics, and AI-related fields.
- Ability to clearly explain technical content to customers or internal stakeholders.
- Foundational understanding of databases, data warehousing, ETL, analytics, or cloud technologies, or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and data utilization, or hands-on learning experience.
- Problem-solving skills to understand customer challenges and connect them to solution proposals.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluent in Japanese and comfortable working in English.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and achieving results as a team.
