About the Role

DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for an outpatient dialysis center. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of patients and their families facing end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease, providing care with empathy and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-morbidities which require unique treatment plans and the ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.
• Work with your head, heart and hands each day in a fast paced environment.

Requirements

• Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice required
• Current CPR certification required
• IV certification required if required by state regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system
• BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation
• Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required; functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire required

• $25.00 - $36.00 per hour
• Licensed Practical Nurse ICHD Experienced: $27.75 - $36.50 per hour
• New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year
• New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour
