About the Role

The Teradyne Memory Field Applications team is seeking a motivated Field Application Engineer to develop imaginative and practical application solutions for semiconductor testing, working both collaboratively and independently.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, debug, and deploy test solutions for Digital, Mixed-Signal, and RF semiconductor devices.
  • Develop test program software in a collaborative environment.
  • Perform load board and probe card schematic design and layout reviews.
  • Analyze technical problems and recommend solutions on the Teradyne ATE platform to optimize throughput.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand and improve test processes.
  • Recommend improvements for test coverage quality.
  • Manage production release of test solutions, including handler/prober integration, correlation, and gauge R&R.
  • Identify customer requirements for hardware, software, and test cell integration.
  • Develop new techniques and designs for characterizing and testing semiconductor devices.
  • Demonstrate tester capabilities for customer evaluations.
  • Provide technical assistance, training, and documentation to customers.
  • Build strong technical customer relationships to understand future needs.

Requirements

  • Relevant industry experience in semiconductor test engineering or related fields.
  • Experience in analog, digital, mixed-signal, and RF testing and development.
  • Prior programming experience on Teradyne or other semiconductor ATE platforms.
  • Knowledge of handler and prober interfaces.
