About the Role
The Teradyne Memory Field Applications team is seeking a motivated Field Application Engineer to develop imaginative and practical application solutions for semiconductor testing, working both collaboratively and independently.
Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, and deploy test solutions for Digital, Mixed-Signal, and RF semiconductor devices.
- Develop test program software in a collaborative environment.
- Perform load board and probe card schematic design and layout reviews.
- Analyze technical problems and recommend solutions on the Teradyne ATE platform to optimize throughput.
- Collaborate with customers to understand and improve test processes.
- Recommend improvements for test coverage quality.
- Manage production release of test solutions, including handler/prober integration, correlation, and gauge R&R.
- Identify customer requirements for hardware, software, and test cell integration.
- Develop new techniques and designs for characterizing and testing semiconductor devices.
- Demonstrate tester capabilities for customer evaluations.
- Provide technical assistance, training, and documentation to customers.
- Build strong technical customer relationships to understand future needs.
Requirements
- Relevant industry experience in semiconductor test engineering or related fields.
- Experience in analog, digital, mixed-signal, and RF testing and development.
- Prior programming experience on Teradyne or other semiconductor ATE platforms.
- Knowledge of handler and prober interfaces.
