About the Role

L’ECOLE, School of Jewelry Arts, seeks a Gemologist Lecturer to lead gemology courses, develop educational content, and contribute to the dissemination of jewelry culture. This role involves adapting and updating course materials, co-facilitating events, and supporting the creation of educational resources for both in-person and remote delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead gemology courses.
  • Contribute to the development of L'ECOLE's activities.
  • Participate in the adaptation and updates of talks and course content.
  • Participate in the design of projects implemented by L'ECOLE.
  • Co-facilitate contents and events on the campus of L'ECOLE for external and internal audiences.
  • Co-facilitate contents and events within the framework of the Nomadic Schools.
  • Support the design of educational content delivered both in person and remotely.
  • Participate in the revision and periodic updating of educational content.
  • Proofread texts translated into Japanese by external vendors.
  • Perform ad-hoc content translation.
  • Promote learning in collaboration with the training team.
  • Contribute to the development of educational materials.

Requirements

  • Recognized for sense of organization, team spirit, responsiveness, and positive energy.
  • Business fluency and excellent written/spoken communication skills in both Japanese and English.
  • Good command of PC (MS OFFICE) / applications.
