About the Role
We are looking for an adaptable team member who cares about their community to deliver high-quality horticultural and green keeping services across Council parks and open spaces. Working closely with a supportive Team Leader and a small team, you will play a hands-on role in keeping our public spaces clean, welcoming, and vibrant for the community.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial mowing equipment including ride-on mowers, brush cutters, and atomized edgers.
- Perform amenity maintenance such as garden care, asset upkeep, litter picking, and blower operations.
- Collaborate in two-person teams while remaining available to support larger operational crews as required.
- Adapt to changing daily schedules and diverse tasks to meet the evolving needs of council parks.
- Follow direct instructions from Team Leaders and Supervisors to maintain strict community & safety standards.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in a similar role or industry
- Capacity to undertake the physical requirements of the role.
- Great attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Class C Driver's License
- Construction induction White Card
- Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or a permanent resident in Australia.

Salary/Compensations
- $66,047.33 to $72,755.41 + 12% superannuation
