About the Role
As Director, AI Architecture, Platforms & Innovation, you will play a key role in shaping the enterprise AI architecture, platform strategy and technology roadmap that supports the safe and scalable adoption of AI across CFS. You will convert AI strategy into practical technology decisions, standards and investment choices.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Technology teams to ensure AI architecture, standards and platform choices are aligned with broader CFS technology strategy and controls.
- Define and maintain CFS AI reference architectures and target-state blueprints.
- Lead AI platform, tooling and vendor assessments.
- Own AI architecture and standards covering models, agents, APIs, orchestration, integration and security.
- Partner with strategic programmes to provide AI architecture leadership, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable and aligned to enterprise technology standards.
- Drive alignment between AI, data and cloud platforms to support secure and scalable AI adoption.
- Lead the assessment of emerging AI technologies and develop reusable architectural patterns that accelerate enterprise delivery.
- Shape AI platform selection, vendor assessments, RFPs and technology investment decisions to enable long-term business value.
Requirements
- Extensive technology architecture experience within complex enterprise environments.
- Proven success in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures on Azure and/or AWS.
- Experienced in designing and implementing production AI, GenAI or agent-based solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Databricks, AWS Bedrock, or equivalent enterprise AI platforms.
- Vendor and AI ecosystem management, including AI platform assessment, technology due diligence and investment evaluation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills across business and technology teams.
- Ability to bring diverse technology teams toward common enterprise outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience guiding AI platform decisions, establishing enterprise foundations and enabling successful delivery outcomes.
