About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Editorial Assistant to join our Adult Publishing and Audio team. You will manage a broad range of administrative duties and provide editorial support to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a broad range of administrative and editorial support to the Adult Publishing and Editorial teams.
  • Maintain bibliographic systems, schedules, metadata and data.
  • Respond to internal and external publishing inquiries.
  • Coordinate and minute departmental meetings.
  • Organise event set-up, catering, and external meetings.
  • Support the editorial teams and publishers as required.

Requirements

  • High standard of literacy (both oral and written).
  • Some administrative experience in the publishing industry or equivalent preferable.
  • Outstanding time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative.
  • Resilient with the ability to flex and change to accommodate shifting needs and priorities.
  • Computer literate with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
