About the Role

Manly Fast Ferry and Fantasea Cruising, part of the NRMA Group, is seeking technicians to join their team. This role involves working closely with Fleet Managers to conduct repairs, maintenance, and ship husbandry on a fleet of 20 vessels, contributing to one of Sydney’s best-performing public transport services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct repairs, maintenance, and ship husbandry.
• Work closely with Fleet Managers.
• Perform tasks across a fleet of 20 vessels.
• Undertake preventive, corrective, or general tasks as required.

Requirements

• Certified in a relevant field (i.e. Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, Marine Mechanic, Marine Engine Driver Grade 1, Electrician or similar).
• Demonstrated skills and hands-on experience with technical systems, repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics.
• Ability to be self-motivated and work unsupervised.
• Positive attitude, respect for fellow staff, good work ethic, and cleanliness.
• Knowledge of vessel technical systems.
• Marine qualifications.
