About the Role
Join the Digital Career Institute & Social Impact School, a leading provider of digital further education in Germany, helping individuals transition into new careers by connecting education, the job market, and companies.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle for employees and freelancers from entry to exit, in close coordination with management and the local HR Generalist.
- Oversee recruiting and talent acquisition, including active sourcing, and collaborate closely with hiring managers.
- Handle all people administration, including contract creation and payroll preparation and support.
- Engage in HR project work, such as developing and optimizing existing HR processes and policies, particularly within Personio (e.g., improving onboarding and offboarding).
- Provide support for labor law issues and coordinate with external partners and service providers.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of HR experience in an agile environment with broad HR generalist knowledge across recruiting, development, and operations.
- Hands-on mentality, structured and independent work style, and enjoyment of project management.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, with an empathetic demeanor and the ability to convey information clearly, respectfully, and appropriately.
- Understanding of the German education landscape and enthusiasm for further education and lifelong learning.
- Proficient and routine use of HR tool Personio and Google Workspace, and effective use of modern AI applications for HR efficiency.
- Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
