About the Role
We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around Bankstown and surrounding suburbs in a varied and rewarding role - no two days will be the same!!
Responsibilities
- Supporting and connecting with our clients assisting with day to day in home tasks - cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client's care plan
- Transport to appointments and shopping
- Meal preparation
- Social Support or Respite for family/carers
- Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)
Requirements
- A genuine passion for providing high quality care to older Australian's in the community
- Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
- Good communication skills
- A reliable team player
- An understanding of workplace health and safety
- An Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)
Skills
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential)

Salary/Compensations
- $34.50 - $37.00 per hour
- 25% casual loading
- superannuation
- km reimbursement ($1.11 cents per km)
