About the Role

This unique leadership opportunity combines senior aged care management with travel, variety, and meaningful work across New South Wales. You will lead across multiple Residential Aged Care services, providing stability, guidance, and support wherever it's needed most. UPA is seeking an experienced Relief Facility Manager to join our Corporate Operations team in a full-time roving leadership position supporting our network of 17 Residential Aged Care Homes across NSW.

Responsibilities

  • Provide confident leadership during periods of leave, vacancies, and organisational change
  • Support and mentor multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional resident-centred care
  • Maintain compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements
  • Lead quality improvement, accreditation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee operational performance, occupancy, budgets, and workforce management
  • Build trusted relationships with residents, families, employees, and key stakeholders
  • Foster positive workplace cultures focused on accountability, collaboration, and excellence
  • Provide stability and direction while strengthening services across the UPA network

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
  • Significant leadership experience as a Facility Manager, Clinical Care Manager, Regional Manager, or similar senior aged care leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance, and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing operational performance, budgets, occupancy, and workforce planning
  • Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams and creating positive workplace cultures
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly throughout New South Wales
  • A resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused leadership style
