About the Role

GHD is seeking experienced senior data centre professionals to join their growing Data Centres and Mission Critical team across Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. This role is ideal for lead engineers and industry specialists who want to work on complex digital infrastructure projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from energy generation to operations, as global investment in AI and high-performance computing accelerates.

Responsibilities

Support complex, stakeholder-rich, and technically demanding digital infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with a growing international team delivering projects across APAC, the Middle East, North America, and Europe.
Work across technical disciplines including energy, power, utilities, mechanical, electrical, structural engineering, sustainability, ICT, security, commissioning, and operational readiness.
Contribute to data centre and mission critical solutions in areas such as HV, MV, LV systems, grid connections, standby generation, cooling systems, thermal modelling, and low energy mechanical design.
Help clients respond to broader challenges shaping digital infrastructure, including energy, water, sustainability, economics, and long-term resilience.

Requirements

Senior technical experience in data centres, mission critical infrastructure, energy systems, engineering design, commissioning, architecture, project leadership, or a related discipline.
Strong technical capability combined with commercial awareness, leadership, and curiosity.
Confidence working with clients, influencing teams, and contributing to the growth of new markets and capabilities.
A collaborative approach with the ability to work across disciplines, geographies, and global project teams.
An interest in shaping the future of digital infrastructure through technically robust, sustainable, and commercially practical solutions.
