About the Role
A customer-oriented engineer is needed to join a team specializing in Hospital Patient Monitoring. This is a critical customer-facing role focused on maintaining and developing customer relationships and providing expert technical advice on medical equipment maintenance, installation, and servicing.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively to provide exceptional customer service, including corrective & preventative maintenance, commissioning & installation, and equipment/software upgrades.
- Actively participate in the sales process and provide expert technical support throughout the customer relationship lifecycle.
- Lead the management and support of technical escalations to resolution, keeping stakeholders updated.
- Provide best-in-class service through technical support, maintenance, and repairs, minimizing customer downtime.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge through continuous training and development, staying updated on relevant new technologies.
- Work additional hours outside of business hours as necessary to perform the job role efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer-facing service engineering role within the medical equipment or Biomedical industry.
- Experience with Hospital Patient monitoring is ideal.
- Strong IT skills and experience with Networking are highly regarded.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Hold a full AU driver's license.
- Possess Australian working rights.
- Police checks will be required during the onboarding process.
