About the Role

The Upper Extremities Sales Associate will partner closely with Sales Representatives to learn the medical device industry and contribute to business growth in the assigned territory. This role involves supporting sales activities, including case coverage, marketing, inventory management, and customer conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Attend surgeries to ensure product availability and instruct surgeons on product use.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on product usage, maintenance, updates, and educational programs.
  • Identify sales opportunities and build customer relationships.
  • Assess new prospect needs and develop appropriate sales responses.
  • Tailor promotional messages, advise on product selection, and answer customer questions.
  • Perform field calls within the assigned territory.
  • Assist in implementing sales plans and marketing strategies to meet business targets.
  • Serve as the primary backup contact for Sales Representatives.
  • Understand and adhere to regulatory compliance issues.
  • Resolve customer problems and questions.
  • Manage inventory levels and assemble product sets.
  • Assist with acquiring and processing Customer Purchase Orders.
  • Maintain training in sales skills and products.
  • Market the product line, highlighting features and competitive differentiators.
  • Stay current on industry, customer, and competitive trends.
  • Participate in sales meetings and professional association events.
  • Adhere to compliance and ethical principles, maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree or Medical Certification + at least 2 years of professional and/or related experience
  • High School Diploma + at least 4 years of professional and/or related experience
  • 4+ years of active duty military service
  • 1 year of business-to-business sales success (preferred)
