About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. As a trusted technical expert, you'll work closely with business stakeholders to deliver innovative BI solutions, optimize analytics platforms, and drive continuous improvement across reporting and data visualization capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis and translation of business requirements into scalable and sustainable BI solutions.
  • Design and define reporting and analytics solutions that align with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
  • Lead the development, testing, and implementation of BI solutions, including data transformation, modelling, and performance optimisation.
  • Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and visualisations that provide actionable business insights.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on reporting, analytics, trends, and performance metrics.
  • Conduct research, prototyping, and troubleshooting activities to support innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of BI platforms and reporting environments, including refresh scheduling, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure analytics solutions are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and support current and future business needs.

Requirements

  • Excellent team work and collaboration.
  • Extensive experience in Business Intelligence development, analytics, and reporting delivery.
  • Strong expertise in statistical data interpretation, analysis, and data modelling to drive business insights and outcomes.
  • Advanced experience working with enterprise data warehousing and analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and optimise reporting, dashboard, and analytics solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data transformation, performance optimisation, and BI best practices.
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders across business and technical teams.
  • Experience translating business requirements into practical, data-driven solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

Salary/Compensations

  • Package up to $166,549 pa. Package includes salary range ($133,348 pa to $146,945 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
