About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Storeperson to join our NSW Distribution Centre in Eastern Creek. This hands-on position is for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining accuracy, and is passionate about delivering excellent service while leading by example on the warehouse floor.
Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, storage, movement and dispatch of products, including the safe loading and unloading of stock.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock control activities, regular audits and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Coordinate transport bookings, delivery schedules, manifests and documentation to ensure efficient customer and carrier service.
- Manage end-to-end authorised product returns, including verification of documentation and accurate processing within the ERP system.
- Liaise with transport providers and internal stakeholders to coordinate collections, deliveries and returns while meeting service KPIs.
- Prepare and maintain reports on returns, inventory accuracy, logistics performance and operational metrics to support informed decision-making.
- Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with WHS requirements, reporting hazards and incidents, and maintaining warehouse procedures and standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a senior warehouse, storeperson or logistics role.
- A current Forklift Licence.
- Experience operating clamp forklifts
- Strong inventory control and stock management experience.
- Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (JD Edwards experience highly beneficial).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment.
- A strong focus on accuracy, customer service and continuous improvement.
