About the Role

This role supports the Engineering Business Unit by managing financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting activities to aid decision-making. It involves collaborating with the business to produce monthly management reporting, develop financial plans, and conduct analysis for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with the business to produce monthly management reporting for actuals and forecast.
  • Develop financial plans.
  • Undertake analysis and research activities for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Consolidate, validate, and report on periodic budgets and statutory reporting processes.
  • Ensure a sound financial control and governance framework is maintained.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong attention to detail, managing complex financial models with large data volumes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver clear financial analysis and advice.
  • Considerable exposure to forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Oracle experience.
  • A high level of accountability and ability to work to deadlines.

Skills

  • Advanced excel skills
  • ESSBASE experience preferred
  • Hyperion spreadsheet packages preferred
  • PowerBi experience desirable
  • Alteryx experience desirable
