About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations at IAD and DCA airports. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient management, logistics, and team performance, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Provide supervision based on monthly scheduling, including day and night shifts.
• Promote the company's mission, vision, and objectives.
• Inform the operational manager of problems and take corrective action.
• Implement process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee team management, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure proper material handling techniques to maintain safety standards.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and communication.
• Direct and/or participate in meetings.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor service quality and cleaning standards.
• Ensure availability of appropriate equipment, cleaning materials, and supplies.
• Manage inventories of cleaning products, equipment, and towels.

Requirements

• Must successfully complete a background investigation.
• Proficient in MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Maintain a relationship with both employees and clients.
• Good working knowledge of management practices and principles.
• Possess critical thinking skills for quick observation and appropriate response.
• Must be eligible to pass a criminal background check to obtain the airport ID.
