About the Role
As an Oracle Data Centre Technician, you will serve as the technical liaison between technology teams and the Data Centre Environment. You will troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, install, configure, and test data centre equipment, and perform routine maintenance. Your attention to detail is imperative.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and solve infrastructure issues within a Data Centre environment
- Install/assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of data centre equipment
- Perform routine maintenance such as replacing failed components and updating firmware
- Understand the support tools used to maintain data centre activities
- Assist with maintaining an accurate parts inventory
Requirements
- Background in racking & stacking to deployment & decommissioning
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve infrastructure issues within a Data Centre environment
- Ability to work closely with senior Technicians
- Attention to detail is imperative
