About the Role
Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides to provide one-on-one care for clients in Valley Stream and Nassau County, offering flexible scheduling and supportive management.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare light meals and perform light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Promote client safety, comfort, and independence
- Report changes in client condition to the care team
Requirements
- Current New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- Minimum of one year of caregiving experience
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Physical exam within one year
- PPD, QuantiFERON, or Chest X-ray documentation
- MMR immunization documentation
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
