About the Role

The Allocation Planner will be responsible for replenishing Retail Stores and managing initial seasonal allocations. This role also involves actioning inventory allocation and release for both Wholesale and Retail partners.

Responsibilities

  • Store allocation and replenishment from DC to stores daily
  • Determine initial allocation and replenishment quantities to maintain necessary inventory levels and maximize service levels for stores
  • Propose increases and decreases to in-store inventory thresholds to upper management weekly and monthly
  • Work on region specific inventory and sales reporting for global decisions
  • Evaluate sales daily and react to trends to shift inventory to maximize sales, service level and sell through
  • Work closely with Buying team to understand priorities and market specific needs
  • Report on product in dc dates and delays from factory prior to launch of each season to ensure on time launch
  • Action inventory allocation and release for Wholesale and Retail
  • Analyze daily allocations against incoming supply to strategically release pick tickets and optimize warehouse workflow
  • Review and react to any orders that cannot be released to the warehouse due to credit issues, order holds, or short ship windows
  • Provide sales operations teams with necessary information for weekly shipping forecast
  • Execute all retail order entry and maintenance

Requirements

  • Must be able to work unsupervised (minimum 50% time in allocation)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organized and able to multi-task

Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail math
  • Excellent analytical skills
