Responsibilities

• Write a weekly column covering social, economic, and political topics related to nations and territories in Australasia, Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia from their perspective.
• Provide special region-related coverage.

Requirements

• Adept at understanding the geopolitics of the nations and territories in Australasia, Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia.
• Adept at understanding the nuances of domestic/national politics in nations and territories in Australasia, Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia.
• Able to look at geopolitical subject matters from multiple perspectives.
• Adept at relying on fact-based evidence rather than political or activist wish-thinking.
• Adept at understanding the ever-shifting state of the economy or economies of nations and territories in Australasia, Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia.
• Must submit a cover letter, resume stating experience, and three published clips.
