About the Role
ACCESS PT, a member of the Confluent Health family, is looking for a Physical Therapy Aide to join their Yonkers, NY team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and sanitize treatment room for patients.
- Understand the uses of stationary bikes, pulley systems, exercise/medicine balls, plyometric boxes, rebounder, weight equipment, mobilization tables and benches, progressive resistive exercises as designed by the Physical Therapist.
- Prepare equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin bath, and hot packs.
- Remove and replace braces, splints, and slings from patient bodies before and after treatment.
- Assist physical therapy assistant and/or physical therapist to support patient during ambulation and gait training.
- Communicate effectively with patients/clients, the public and all members of the healthcare team.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
