About the Role

NVIDIA's Advanced Package Engineering team is expanding and seeking engineers to build automation infrastructure for complex, multi-die packages. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop production-grade EDA tooling at the forefront of packaging technology, setting new industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement VLSI tools for silicon and substrate design in collaboration with world-class engineers.
• Develop applications focused on maintainability and ease of use for project engineers.
• Create flows, tools, and methodologies for constructing, analyzing, and validating package designs throughout the production process.
• Optimize the daily workflows of leading package designers.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in flow and methodology development for package design at scale.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ programming, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and code quality.
• Demonstrated experience applying AI/ML techniques in engineering workflows (e.g., LLMs for code generation, ML-assisted design analysis, AI-assisted EDA flows).
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals relevant to VLSI package design (signal integrity, power delivery, parasitic extraction).
