About the Role
Responsible for growing the Wholesale Business by managing relationships with fund distributors, generating product ideas, and executing launches.
Responsibilities
- Implement and contribute to the overall wholesale distribution strategy and key client sales and servicing model.
- Drive sales, AUM, and revenue growth for the wholesale business.
- Implement effective sales and servicing strategies to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by demonstrating strong investment knowledge.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to develop high-quality wholesale marketing and sales materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry players to monitor market trends.
- Represent the wholesale business in internal senior management reports and forums, as well as external conferences and client events.
- Summarize client requests and needs, collaborating with other departments.
- Conduct client due diligence in accordance with HSBC Group Policy, in cooperation with relevant departments.
Requirements
- Fund sales and marketing experience in Japan preferred.
- Knowledge of investment philosophy and process, markets, products, and regulations.
- Highest standard of ethics.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
- Native level of Japanese and business level of English required.
