Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate drilling operations on-site, including site preparation
- Ensure work is completed according to project specifications, timelines, and budget
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other construction teams
- Lead and manage field crews to ensure efficiency and teamwork
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members, ensuring high performance and safety standards
- Conduct regular safety meetings, risk assessments, and site inspections
- Maintain a safe and organized job site, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Monitor site progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality control
- Ensure machinery is properly maintained and serviced to minimize downtime
- Monitor equipment use and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, progress, safety inspections, and equipment usage
- Ensure excavation activities comply with all local, state and federal environmental laws and regulations
Requirements
- Experience in construction, drilling, excavation, utilities, or similar industries
- Leadership experience in a field-based role
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and site coordination
- Ability to troubleshoot and make quick, effective decisions
- Willingness to learn about geothermal drilling and new industry practices
- Ability to travel approximately 3 days per week as needed
- Valid Driver's license & ability to travel between job sites
- Continually required to walk

- Ability to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
- Continually required to talk or hear
- Frequently manipulate items weighing more than 50 lbs
- Frequently utilize visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information

- Continual exposure to weather conditions
- Exposed to intermittent loud noise
