About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Driving for an established route/territory.
  • Assisting in the loading, unloading, and delivering goods to customer locations.
  • Learning the delivery area.
  • Checking orders for quality and accuracy.
  • Following proper delivery procedures.
  • Assisting with food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing as needed.
  • Assisting with receiving food and supply deliveries from vendors and restocking.
  • Transferring supplies and equipment by hand or with a cart to the proper location.
  • Gathering supplies required for each site as detailed on production sheets and order guides.
  • Loading, unloading, and delivering products and orders in a timely manner.
  • Reporting any necessary maintenance or repairs needed on the company vehicle to the manager.
  • Maintaining and keeping the vehicle clean.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience.
  • One (1) year of experience in delivering products/inventory preferred.
  • A valid state driver’s license for assigned vehicles is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to transport and set up food and food service items.
  • Knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic rules.
  • Strong team orientation.
  • Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Dependable and flexible.
  • This role includes physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift when not driving.
