About the Role
The Sales Manager leads a high-performing team to deliver top-line sales growth and an exceptional guest experience. This role oversees retail business operations, including sales, service, and process compliance, while fostering a culture of accountability and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and payroll goals.
- Drive profitability by identifying underperforming metrics and implementing strategic solutions.
- Manage store scheduling and payroll budgets to maximize productivity.
- Plan and execute in-store events to drive guest experience and brand collaboration.
- Analyze financial and operational reporting to react to business trends.
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services.
- Maintain regular attendance and enforce company attendance policies.
- Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team of top talent.
- Build an engaged, inclusive team through effective communication and collaboration.
- Support associate professional development through coaching, training, and performance reviews.
- Establish professional brand partner relationships.
- Execute the Guest Engagement Leader program to drive business results.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and dress code.
- Manage store workload, including inventory, marketing resets, and pricing updates.
- Protect company assets through inventory control, cash management, and loss prevention.
- Communicate business trends and operational challenges to field leadership.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of fast-paced retail management or relevant experience.
- Proven success in financial management, including driving sales and managing payroll.
- Experience in retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in attracting, developing, and motivating talent.
- Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to attend corporate business meetings and conferences.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to perform continuous mobility, bending, reaching, and twisting during shifts.
Skills
- Proficiency with Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and Apple devices.
