About the Role
The Equipment Manager is responsible for ordering and maintaining equipment in the field used by the crew to complete a job. This position supports the Field team and works with personnel in various departments.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain the fleet of vehicles and equipment.
- Keep up with DOT requirements regarding dielectric testing and IFTA stickers, changing equipment out as needed.
- Complete tag and title work.
- Take calls related to equipment problems in the field and prioritize jobs to dispatch mechanics to the jobsite to fix them.
- Collect quotes, gain approvals, and order equipment when needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- 3 years of equipment operator or maintenance experience.
- Detailed knowledge of fleet maintenance and repair.
- Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
