About the Role
Color is revolutionizing cancer care with the nation’s first Virtual Cancer Clinic, delivering high-quality, physician-led multidisciplinary care across all 50 states. We are seeking two software engineers to join our technical team, focusing on the AI platform for internal tools and patient experiences, and services for patient onboarding, risk assessment, and screenings.
Responsibilities
- Embed AI-driven automation into care workflows to increase care team capacity.
- Extend and build patient experiences across their entire journey.
- Build infrastructure for developers to expand efficiencies and enable new AI tooling.
Requirements
- Graduated in 2025 or 2026 with a four year degree in Computer Science.
- Passion for using software and technology to help save lives and prevent catastrophic disease.
- Commitment to producing high quality code and eliminating unnecessary duplication.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., code generation, copilot) in development workflows.
- Curiosity around intentionally applying ML/AI to real-world problems.
- Motivation to join a team with rigorous engineering practices and discipline.
- Familiarity with web development and modern web stacks including Python, Django, AWS, SQL, REST APIs, React, HTML5, CSS3, and ES6+.
- Affinity for collaborating with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Experience building with or integrating LLM-powered features is a plus.
