About the Role
Lead secure-by-design cyber architecture that protects and enables a large, complex digital ecosystem. You will lead the design and governance of secure, scalable and resilient cyber solution architecture that underpins the University’s digital platforms and services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and governance of secure, scalable and resilient cyber solution architecture.
- Provide authoritative guidance on cyber solution design.
- Align solutions to enterprise architecture strategy.
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity frameworks and obligations.
- Embed secure-by-design principles across technology domains.
- Work closely with enterprise architects, delivery teams and senior stakeholders.
- Influence solution roadmaps, architecture standards, reference architectures and Architecture Decision Records.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and evolving threat landscapes.
- Uplift cyber maturity, support operational continuity and strengthen digital trust through documentation, assurance activities and governance participation.
Requirements
- Postgraduate qualifications in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing cyber architecture in complex digital environments.
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks, cloud security and enterprise architecture methodologies.
- Proven ability to influence architectural decisions and communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience integrating cyber controls across multi-cloud or hybrid environments, including DevSecOps practices.
- Must provide evidence of full-time working rights in Australia at application.

Salary/Compensations
- $137,681 – $147,032 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.
