About the Role

The Graveyard Shift Supervisor ensures safety, structure, and support for staff and guests at Bayview Hunters Point Foundation. This role requires flexibility to work across all three shifts, providing consistent leadership and maintaining high standards of care in a shelter environment.

Responsibilities

• Assign Care Monitors to workstations
• Maintain shift tracker logs
• Record information on guest master rosters and work area tracking logs
• Ensure shift tracker binders contain current daily forms
• Restock dorms with necessary supplies daily
• Update program weekly roster trackers with entries and exits
• Issue breaks and lunches to staff
• Attend all site and agency mandated trainings
• Complete shift reports by the end of each shift
• Complete and accurately record all Critical Incident Reports

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience working with individuals and families in crisis, homelessness, substance use, or mental health
• Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors
• Ability to engage others, maintain empathy, and de-escalate situations
• Cultural competency and ability to work with diverse populations
• Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with guests
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to respond to emergencies
