About the Role
The Data Analyst will support the Texas Integrated Eligibility Redesign System (TIERS) by providing senior-level business and data analysis for systems managing public-benefit eligibility processes. This role involves understanding business objectives, identifying solutions, and analyzing user requirements to improve existing systems.
Responsibilities
- Understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, and perform studies and cost/benefit analysis.
- Lead JAD sessions and stakeholder interviews to define business needs, document processes, and translate requirements into system and data specifications.
- Develop and execute complex SQL queries and joins for data investigation, quality issue identification, business rule validation, and analytical findings.
- Design dashboards, KPIs, and performance measures to communicate trends and support data-driven decisions.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in IT, supporting technology solutions.
- 8 years of experience with Integrated Eligibility systems, including full SDLC involvement.
- 8 years of experience in business analysis and data analysis.
- 8 years of experience conducting JAD sessions, eliciting requirements, and documenting findings.
- 8 years of experience using SQL, including complex joins.
- 8 years of experience analyzing data quality.
- 8 years of experience designing dashboards, including measures and KPIs.
- 4 years of experience with the Texas Integrated Eligibility Redesign System (TIERS).
- Must currently live within 50 miles of the Austin, Texas work location.
