About the Role
CPA Ontario is seeking several coordinators for its Student Services teams. These roles will coordinate and ensure the integrity of student and prospect applications, documents, and records. Responsibilities include reviewing applications for completeness and compliance, supporting applicants through the assessment process, and advising students on next steps.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate commitment to students by providing counseling and timely responses to inquiries via telephone and email.
- Conduct preliminary reviews of assessment documentation for accuracy and completeness, identifying any follow-up needs.
- Review documentation to verify degree equivalence, prerequisite education, and eligibility.
- Exercise professional judgment in transcript assessments, identify eligibility concerns, and escalate to management as needed.
- Uphold Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while maintaining high data accuracy.
- Update systems and perform data entry to complete applications.
- Maintain the integrity of educational data in Salesforce for transcript assessment records.
Requirements
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in Business or a related discipline.
- Experience serving students or customers in a regulatory, membership, educational services, or customer-oriented environment.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Skilled in advanced functions of Excel.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and active listening abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to use initiative and work to deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Team player with a willingness to collaborate and assist teammates.
