About the Role
The Associate will manage the Founder Residency program, curate high-value community events, and lead the firm's social media and content strategy. This role requires a hands-on approach to building talent pipelines, fostering founder connections, and utilizing modern AI tools to scale operational workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute a recurring calendar of high-value community events including workshops, brainstorms, and expert conversations.
- Host and facilitate events to ensure meaningful connections and engagement among attendees.
- Collaborate with talent and investment teams to identify and integrate exceptional talent into the firm's ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain lightweight tools and automated workflows for outreach and talent tracking using AI agents.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Founder Residency program, including admissions and onboarding.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for resident founders to support their needs and facilitate internal connections.
- Continuously iterate and improve the residency program structure.
- Lead the firm's social media and content strategy, including writing, photography, and video production.
- Create engaging content such as recaps, founder spotlights, and event highlights to build brand presence.
Requirements
- Natural hosting ability with experience reading a room and facilitating high-energy interactions.
- Strong point of view on event programming and community engagement.
- Proven track record in brand-building through social media and content creation.
- Proficiency in using AI tools like Claude Code or Cursor to build lightweight trackers and automated workflows.
- Strong organizational skills to manage concurrent event calendars and residency cohorts.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across investment, talent, and founder teams.
- Commitment to working in-person daily at the 22 Vanderbilt office.
