About the Role
This role will give you the opportunity to be based out of our Alexandria or Rydalmere office with regular travel to project sites. This is a key role where you'll bring your technical expertise, stakeholder management skills and commercial acumen together to drive safe, high-quality project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of project works, ensuring safety, quality, cost and programme outcomes are achieved.
- Provide leadership, mentoring and direction to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, supporting the ongoing development of team capability.
- Manage project planning, programming, scheduling, procurement and contract administration activities.
- Monitor project performance through cost management, forecasting, budgeting, progress claims and monthly financial reviews.
- Identify project risks and opportunities, implementing effective solutions to maintain delivery objectives.
- Lead and promote a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with HSEQ requirements, contractual obligations and company procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering mid to large-scale civil infrastructure projects, ideally with exposure to pavements, roadworks and urban civil construction.
- Strong understanding of project delivery, commercial management and construction methodologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively, build trusted relationships and work collaboratively with clients, subcontractors and project teams.
- Commitment to delivering projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Willingness to contribute to a positive team culture and drive continuous improvement.
