About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced housekeeping cleaner to join our Environmental Services department. This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and requires cross-training in hospital cleaning and infection prevention procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in rooms, public areas, and clinical areas.
- Perform hospital cleaning and infection prevention and control procedures.
- Work a rotational roster covering 7 days a week, with shifts including daytime and afternoon/evening.
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning roles or housekeeping.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Awareness of work health and safety principles.
- Proven ability to follow instructions and maintain good attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have an Australian visa granting necessary work rights.
