About the Role
This role is an integral part of the REMS team, providing accounting support and management of trust accounts to market-leading property management professionals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end financials and reporting for properties, ensuring timely delivery to property managers, owners, and the Trust accounting function.
- Reconcile trust bank accounts.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving issues to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepare amortization journals and schedules for lease incentives.
- Action take-on balance for new management.
- Assist property managers in preparing outgoings reconciliations and annual budgets.
- Collaborate with AP and AR teams to ensure processing accuracy and assist with queries.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Real Estate or Property sector.
- Knowledge of MRI software is preferable but not essential.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
