About the Role
The Senior Analyst, Structured Finance at Aypa Power will provide analytical and quantitative support to the Structured Finance team, contributing to the company's financial success in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and reviewing financial models, including conducting sensitivity analyses and reporting their impact.
- Provide support in financial due diligence and analysis for existing and future energy storage and generation assets.
- Participate in the evaluation of strategic financial decisions and offer input under the guidance of senior team members.
- Work closely with the M&A team to evaluate investment opportunities.
- Assist in updating corporate valuation metrics and engage in fundamental financial performance analysis.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and special assignments.
- Develop financial models and provide insights for high-level decision-making.
- Develop financial models and analyses to guide senior management’s strategic decisions.
- Implement process improvements and manage compliance initiatives independently.
- Advise on investment strategies and financial compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or economics.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in finance or related fields.
- 1 year of renewable energy industry experience.
- Familiarity with financial research, modeling, due diligence, credit agreements, and transaction documents.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic team player capable of contributing to a collaborative work environment.
- Ability to work in the United States.
- Candidates are required to be based in Austin, TX or willing to relocate.
