About the Role

As the Board & Governance Administrator, you'll play an integral role in supporting AP+'s Governance function and ensuring the effective operation of our Board and Board Committees. Working closely with the Head of Governance and Company Secretary, you'll coordinate governance activities, prepare Board materials, manage governance documentation and help ensure AP+ continues to meet its corporate governance, legal and regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Providing end-to-end administrative and secretariat support for Board and Board Committee meetings, including agendas, meeting papers, minute preparation and Board portal administration.
  • Managing the Governance mailbox and supporting Directors with administrative requirements, including expense processing.
  • Coordinating the annual Governance calendar, ensuring meetings, paper deadlines and briefing sessions are effectively scheduled.
  • Maintaining corporate registers and governance records, including regulatory filings and Board documentation.
  • Managing governance documentation and responding to information requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting governance improvement initiatives and helping optimise Governance team processes.
  • Maintaining Board-related content across the AP+ website and intranet.
  • Providing administrative support for governance projects, alongside invoicing and accounts administration for the Legal & Governance team.

Requirements

  • At least four years' experience in a Board, Governance, Company Secretariat or similar administration role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence supporting senior executives, Directors and key stakeholders.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, integrity and discretion.
  • Strong administrative and document management skills, with experience using Microsoft Office and governance systems or Board portals.
  • A proactive, continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to enhance governance processes.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance principles, with knowledge of the financial services or payments industry considered advantageous.
