About the Role
As an Executive Assistant to VEG’s President and Co-Founder, you will create leverage and partnerships, ensuring time, energy, and attention are focused on what matters most. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-moving, founder-led environment, can adjust quickly to evolving priorities, exercise thoughtful judgment, and help turn ideas into action.
Responsibilities
- Own the President and Co-Founder’s calendar as a strategic tool, ensuring time reflects VEG’s most important priorities.
- Anticipate needs, prepare concise meeting briefs, and solve problems before they require attention.
- Manage complex scheduling, travel, and select personal appointments and logistics with exceptional attention to detail.
- Drive follow-through by tracking commitments, clarifying ownership, and closing important loops.
- Build trusted relationships with the Chief of Staff, Board, executive team, and leaders across VEG, representing the company with warmth and sound judgment.
- Improve systems, model VEG’s culture, and handle highly confidential business and personal information with discretion.
Requirements
- Experience supporting a founder, CEO, President, or senior executive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Exceptional judgment, strong anticipation, and the confidence to act independently and respectfully push back.
- Outstanding organization and attention to detail, with the ability to adapt quickly when priorities change.
- Clear, concise communication and the interpersonal instincts to build trust at every level.
- Professional maturity, discretion, and flexibility when important needs arise outside standard business hours.
- A low-ego, ownership-oriented approach and a genuine desire to help others succeed and make VEG better.
