About the Role
We are seeking a proactive, creative, and detail-oriented HR Communications & Engagement Intern to support internal communications and enhance our social media presence. This role involves owning daily communications execution, cross-functional collaboration, and amplifying our company culture and brand through building, writing, publishing, and measuring impactful work.
Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and prepare company-wide announcements, newsletters, and engagement campaigns.
- Manage day-to-day execution of internal email communications across various audiences.
- Support culture initiatives, recognition programs, milestone celebrations, and engagement moments.
- Maintain the internal editorial calendar and ensure communications align with business priorities.
- Track performance metrics for internal communications and share insights.
- Research trends and best practices for employer brand and culture content.
- Create and test content for LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
- Propose ideas to grow visibility and engagement across social channels.
- Track and report on social media growth metrics and engagement performance.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-starter who takes ownership and follows through.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Interest in HR, communications, engagement, or brand strategy.
- Experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Basic understanding of content performance metrics is a plus.
- A creative thinker who is not afraid to pitch ideas and experiment.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Canva, Slack, Iterable, or similar platforms is helpful.
