About the Role
The Audience Development Fall Intern will contribute to covering college football, volleyball, grappling, and wrestling. This role offers project-based work, SEO-centric content strategy training, and mentorship within an OTT sports media company.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging content to market live events and tell compelling stories.
- Perform digital media tasks including writing, editing, SEO research, and social media management.
- Develop content based on event trends, breaking news, and historical data.
- Implement basic to advanced SEO search strategies.
- Collaborate with the FloSports Content team to support organizational goals.
- Participate in on-camera opportunities.
Requirements
- Available from September to January.
- Minimum availability of 20-25 hours per week.
- Weekend availability required.
- Must be available from August to May.
- Experience in writing content with basic editing skills.
- Familiarity with AP Style and Chicago Style.
- Proficiency in Google Docs, PowerPoint, and Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to take direction and create content across multiple sports.
- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate potential delays.
