About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Live Production Operator, where you’ll play a key role in orchestrating engaging, shoppable programming on a 24/7 FAST channel. We’re seeking someone eager to lead live events, master playlist scheduling, and ensure exceptional broadcast quality. This role empowers you to make real creative and technical decisions on the fly, supported by a collaborative and innovative team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute live events on a 24/7 FAST channel, managing playlists within an Amagi UI
• Act as the primary point of contact in the control room, collaborating with Directors, Producers, and Production staff to ensure seamless broadcasts
• Deliver smooth live broadcasts featuring remote content creators, using your troubleshooting skills to quickly resolve any issues
• Independently resolve real-time challenges during live streams to maintain flawless channel feeds
• Take on ad-hoc tasks in operations, scheduling, creative projects, and marketing
• Work flexible hours, including regular weekends and nights

Requirements

• 2+ years of live production experience, especially in broadcast or streaming environments
• Experience operating broadcast playlists (Amagi, Frequency, Crispin, or similar platforms)
• Familiarity with streaming protocols (RTMP, SRT, HLS)
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to delivering quality broadcasts
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and enjoy multitasking
