About the Role

SCP Health is a leader in clinical practice management, seeking to bring hospitals and healers together for clinical effectiveness. This role offers an opportunity to make a difference within a large network of patients, providers, and facilities across various care continuums.

Responsibilities

  • Support co-workers in quality audit, coding and billing, and comply with ICD10/CPT coding & chart review for accurate documentation and timely billing.
  • Be available by phone or pager for schedule emergencies, patient complaints, or facility/practice related issues.
  • Enhance client, PCP, patient, and provider satisfaction, as well as quality, case management, emergency department, and other facility relations.
  • Facilitate coordination and communication between the practice and community PCPs/Consulting Specialists.
  • Fax H&P/Discharge Summaries to local PCPs daily.
  • Complete weekly tracking forms for the HM/CC Program and coordinate with the field operations team for analysis and feedback.
  • Observe on-site productivity, performance, and operational considerations, making recommendations with the Field Operations team for optimization.
  • Work collaboratively with the Staffing Operations team and attend related meetings.
  • Support the Medical Director and Field Operations team with meeting preparation, attendance, data collection, and departmental coordination.
  • Gather data for the Medical Director's monthly report to SCP Health and Facility Administration.
  • Manage daily operations and recommend improvements related to KPIs, and client & provider satisfaction.
  • Complete daily BPCI-A program tasks, providing patient disposition within the mySCP Care App.
  • Establish and facilitate the process for signature and documentation on orders, death certificates, and clinical paperwork.
  • Collect and distribute mail daily, sending all EOBs to the SCP Health Dallas office.
  • Establish and facilitate standing meetings between Hospital Administration, facility department managers, and SCP Health’s Corporate Field Operations teams.
  • Serve as a liaison between SCP Health and hospital personnel involved in interdisciplinary processes.
  • Reconcile facility census daily to ensure all assigned patients are verified and provide daily provider assignments to relevant teams.
  • Monitor and support daily operations regarding physician signatures, provider credentialing, and completion of medical records and billing.
  • Serve as liaison between the practice and community primary care physicians, supporting market efforts and hospital priorities for referral retention and growth.
  • Assist in setting up post-discharge follow-up and patient experience engagement.
  • Assist in the implementation, training, updates, and ongoing support of the Telemedicine program.
  • Arrange and assist with new provider interviews, orientation, onboarding, and training on related systems.
  • Perform other duties as determined necessary for the success of the practice.

Requirements

  • Must exhibit strong skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Must be well organized and demonstrate exceptional time management and priority setting skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, staff, physicians and other professionals both orally and in writing.
  • Must be able to represent SCP Health and the client as the local point of contact for Marketing, Physician Relations, and Customer, Patient and Employee satisfaction.
